Gabriel Garofalo at the AIA Design Award Winners 2023 Student Showcase webinar

Gabriel Garofalo, Intern Architect at NEUF’s Toronto office, presented his research "Digital Endemicity: Localized Characteristics for Architectural Fabrication" as part of a webinar titled Unveiling Excellence: AIA Design Award Winners 2023 Student Showcase. This webinar focuses on the concepts of innovation, sustainability, aesthetics and technology. Gabriel's project aims to redefine architectural processes by integrating digital technologies, local craft and sustainable design principles. His work highlights the importance of incorporating local character into our built environment through materiality, methodology, tools, knowledge, and social context.
